Food Technology Teacher Surrey Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Surrey requires a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching primarily Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is committed to providing students with practical skills and a strong understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum.
- Teach essential cooking skills food science principles and healthy eating habits.
- Create a safe and hygienic kitchen environment adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum promoting healthy eating initiatives within the school.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Food Technology Hospitality or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level.
- Strong practical cookery skills and a passion for food and nutrition.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
