Job Description
Sustainability Strategy & Implementation
- Lead the development and of the Beyond Rally platform integrating sustainability efforts across championships.
- Develop and implement the Sustainability Roadbook for WRC Promoter GmbH and its championships in line with the FIAs Environmental Strategy.
- Maintain FIA 3star accreditation and progress towards ISO 14001 / ISO 20121 certification(s).
- Lead and manage carbon footprint measurement and reduction across all WRC and ERC events.
Project Management Reporting & Sustainability Sales
- Develop and implement sustainabilitydriven initiatives with brand partners under the Beyond Rally umbrella including sustainability conferences talent programs (such as the Womens Driver Development Programme) and commercially valuable sustainability projects.
- Collaborate with commercial partners to identify and execute sustainabilityfocused business opportunities that align with their ESG goals.
- Envision and establish innovative projects that drive revenue while promoting environmental and social sustainability.
- Track analyse and report on sustainability KPIs ensuring alignment with corporate and championship objectives.
- Identify opportunities for further environmental and social sustainability improvements within WRC Promoter GmbH.
Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance
- Provide strategic guidance to event organisers teams and partners to help them attain FIA 3star accreditation and adopt best environmental practices.
- Promote and drive behavioural change among event promoters teams and the broader rallying community.
- Assist in conducting internal and external sustainability audits and shareholder reporting.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science Sustainability Business Administration Economics or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sustainability role preferably in sports events or motorsport.
- Expertise in environmental standards (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 20121 and carbon footprint assessments.
- Proven experience in multistakeholder environmental management and sustainability reporting.
- Experience in developing partnerships for sustainability initiatives is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with a resultsdriven approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Knowledge of motorsport industry dynamics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and travel as required.
