Job Description
- To be responsible for overall project management in ensuring the quality cost statutory safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met
- To be responsible for overall coordination and management of construction projects including progress logistics quality cost and client relations
- To coordinate between client architects and consultants
- To monitor the use of site labour materials and plant resources in accordance with the project cost budget
- To manage the implementation of the master programme manpower materials & plant schedules
- To ensure all shortterm programmes are properly reviewed and communicated to all parties concerned
- To ensure proper safety conduct and standards of all site operations
- To provide effective and efficient site administration meetings and reporting
- To plan and organize various statutory inspections
- To act as client representative managing the daily running of the project
- To facilitate progress meetings and produce project reports
- To update the master programme
- To facilitate site meetings and inspections to report on quality and progress
- To manage other consultants and the professional team
- To assist with the procurement and appointment of other consultants as needed
Qualifications :
This is a clientside position which is fulltime based on the construction site.
Reports to both the project director and the client.
Thorough knowledge on both national and international safety regulations with knowledge on best practices across the globe.
Strong ability to drive the highest international safety standards on site beyond the common and legal safety requirements in the country.
Advocate a safetyfirst mentality in the project driving down behavioural safety aspects from the project leadership to all the workers on site.
Able to coordinate with the clientside construction team and the quality team in reviewing method statements and HIRARC from the General Contractor from a safety standpoint.
Some experience delivering projects within a General Contractor would be highly preferred.
Proficient in both local language and English both verbal and written.
