BS/BA or equivalent required
12 years experience strongly preferred in a marketing journalism communications or related role preferably within the health care field.
Skills
Solid writing proofreading and editing skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical experience of creating and managing websites intranet sites newsletters apps and social collaboration platforms preferred.
Knowledge of how to work within a content management system (CMS) preferred.
Comfortable working with various online platforms for project management.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Adobe suite of products: InDesign Photoshop Illustrator PDF preferred.
Comfortable flexible and able to thrive in a fast paced rapidly changing health care environment.
A highlyorganized selfstarter able to manage competing demands effectively and have the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.
Capable of handling scheduled and impromptu assignments on a daily basis with accuracy and efficiency.

Population Health Management (PHM) is an innovative model of care delivery that aims to improve the health of patients while lowering the overall costs of care. PHM includes best practices and tactics to enhance the patient experience improve outcomes and provide better organized and more personalized care to our patients. At Partners we provide the resources and technology for our hospitals and community clinics to implement PHM across all phases of care.
The Communications Associate works closely with the Director of Communications to develop and manage PHM communications and messaging for internal and external audiences. The Communications Associate will manage the content of the PHM website and assist in preparation of materials for senior leadership. She/he will also develop and write content for a variety of internal and external communication vehicles (e.g. print web email etc) and provide project management for communication projects. Collaboration with outside vendors internal stakeholders and clinical leadership is a key component. This position requires solid writing proofreading and editing skills as well as creativity and interest in communication web design and social media.
Administration and content management of the PHM website; assure content is timely and uptodate make recommendations for site improvement and oversee monthly analytics and reporting.
Develop write design and edit a variety of internal and external communication vehicles (e.g. newsletters website press releases email intranet etc).
Assist senior leadership with preparation of slides for presentations research requests employee communications blogs and other special projects.
Provide project management for communication projects (e.g. develop detailed project plans and timelines lead daytoday tasks participate in creative concept development and work closely with outside vendors and other internal stakeholders).
Participate in strategic planning activities with senior leadership.
Collaborate with program leaders in the development and dissemination of communication vehicles for internal and external audiences.
Collaborate with Partners HealthCare Marketing on website design branding activities and other special projects.
Develop and implement social media strategy to build public awareness of PHM.
Assume responsibility for list management functions for electronic and print mailing lists including managing email bounces to keep lists updated.
Monitor local and national developments about PHM to stay informed.
