This fulltime role is responsible for tasks related to the operating and capital budget processes including:

A prominent Buffalo employer is seeking a Budget Analyst on a temporary basis.
This fulltime role is responsible for tasks related to the operating and capital budget processes including:
- Developing statistics and volume assumptions
- Monitoring budgeted revenue expenses variances
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of the annual budget calendar for determining necessary tasks and due dates
- Monitoring and analyzing budget performance and counseling managers on corrective action needed for compliance
- Monitoring operating results and cash flows and making updates to original projections
- Participating in the selection and maintenance of budget software packages
- Monitoring and updating productivity standards for comparing performance of individual cost centers against internal departments and internal benchmarks
