A nationally recognized retail investment advisory group known for executing over $11B in retail transactions is seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Financial Analyst (Senior or Junior level) to support its high-performing Retail Investment Sales team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong financial modeling capabilities deep knowledge of commercial real estate (especially retail assets) and a proactive mindset who thrives in a fast-paced client-focused environment.
What you will be doing:
Analyze and underwrite retail investment properties across the U.S. using Argus and Excel.
Support multiple agents with detailed financial models rent rolls CAM reconciliations lease abstracts and pricing analysis.
Prepare high-impact Offering Memorandums Broker Opinions of Value and presentations for clients.
Conduct market and asset-level research including title reviews sales comps lease comps and market competition.
Maintain and manage CRM databases and reporting tools to track clients deals and properties.
Assist in due diligence efforts by collecting and reviewing leases operating statements financials and legal documentation.
Communicate with buyers sellers and agents; provide strategic recommendations based on data.
Stay current with trends in capital markets retail asset operations and real estate finance.
Experience you will need:
Bachelor s degree in Real Estate Finance or related field.
4 years of experience in commercial real estate ideally within retail investment sales.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling equity waterfalls CAM structures).
Proficient in Argus Enterprise CoStar Crexi and CRM tools (Salesforce HubSpot etc.).
Strong understanding of lease structures real estate finance and capital markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex analysis clearly.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
California Real Estate Sales License preferred.
Must be a local candidate (Corona del Mar or San Diego); on-site full-time role with benefits.
