Job Purpose
The Country Manager will be the companys primary representative in Mexico responsible for leading the establishment and expansion of commercial operations achieving business goals expanding market presence and ensuring sustainable profitability.
This role plays a crucial role in bridging the companys global strategy with local realities ensuring a successful market entry and growth in Mexico.
Upon joining THX you will spend the first few months on setting up our affiliate office in Mexico City and working on necessary processes to prepare the business for smooth running in Mexico.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and implement in accordance with company policies marketing and sales strategies related to the products and therapeutic areas of competence;
- Implement also in agreement with the regulatory department the market access policies related to WH products;
- Ensure the alignment of local strategy and tactics with international guidelines;
- Manage and coordinate sales and marketing teams monitoring the performance of activities with respect to the planned budgets;
- Lead the WH teams working with a view to developing their own resources;
- Will be responsible for overseeing the local business support teams including Human Resources Finance Operations Quality and Regulatory Affairs. These teams will have a functional reporting line to Brazils respective business support areas;
- Align with the respective Brazil business support areas (Finance HR Operations and Regulatory Affairs) on strategies and key operational events related to their function;
- Respect and align with company procedures and policies (SOP);
- Monitor the correct of the companys strategic and tactical plans with reference to the WH products;
- Monitor the achievement of sales and EBITDA objectives;
- Develop strengthen and ensure the maintenance of relationships with Opinion Leaders and key customers;
- Plan in collaboration with the global/Brazil HR Team the development and training plans of its employees;
- Coordinate and supervise their teams defining sales objectives and development plans in order to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the Branded department;
- Encourage and facilitate collaboration partnership and synergy with the various departments and teams.
Minimum Requirements (Experience & Education)
- Degree in scientific and / or economic disciplines
- Prior experience in leading marketing and sales teams of Pharmaceutics companies
