Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intelligent Controls and Automation Engineer to join our Intelligent Controls and Automation (ICA) team. This role is pivotal in managing and advancing our control systems focusing on Siemens and Rockwell automation platforms. The successful candidate will be based in Boston with a requirement to be onsite three days a week and occasional travel for vendor acceptance testing and project support

As the Intelligent Controls and Automation Engineer you will:

  • Provide technical leadership in supporting the OU core business and initiative delivery.
  • Act as a key enabler in leading and delivering results against challenges.
  • Be an integral part of executing projects for the category by leveraging new advanced controls robotics information systems and Cyber Security technologies.

Job Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and implement control systems for molding assembly and packaging equipment.
  • Manage electrical schematics programming and safety validation plans.
  • Lead the design and architecture of control systems ensuring compliance with NEC NFPA ISO standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug control systems providing technical support for commissioning efforts.
  • Participate in daily direction setting meetings department meetings and platformspecific meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with technical representatives and broader teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
  • Support obsolescence management and update existing control systems as needed.

.Pay Range: $115000 $145000
