We are pleased to introduce you to an opportunity for Corporate Communications with a global advertising agency in Mumbai.

Job Summary :

The VPCorporate Communications will lead the organizations communication strategy driving brand awareness and reputation management in the advertising industry. This individual will oversee the development and of internal and external communications ensuring alignment with the companys vision goals and business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker skilled communicator and proven leader with expertise in media relations corporate reputation management and crisis communications.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategy Development :

Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy to enhance the companys brand presence and reputation.

Align communication strategies with the organizations overall marketing business and corporate objectives.

Identify key opportunities and risks in the communications landscape and proactively manage both.

2. Media Relations & Public Relations :

Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets journalists and influencers within the advertising and marketing industry.

Lead media outreach press releases interviews and respond to media inquiries.

Manage corporate news and ensure timely and effective communication of key developments to internal and external stakeholders.

3. Internal Communications :

Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure a transparent engaging and cohesive culture across the organization.

Ensure that corporate messaging aligns with company values and objectives engaging employees and stakeholders.

Oversee the internal communication channels including newsletters employee town halls and corporate events.

4. Crisis Communications :

Lead crisis communication efforts developing responses to potential issues and managing communication during critical situations.

Work closely with senior leadership to mitigate reputational risks and provide clear and consistent messaging during crises.

5. Brand Reputation Management :

Monitor and assess the companys reputation in the market identifying areas for improvement or amplification.

Develop campaigns to enhance the corporate image addressing both positive and negative perceptions of the company.

6. Content Creation and Oversight :

Oversee the creation of engaging relevant and timely content across all communication channels (website social media corporate publications etc..

Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and that content aligns with the overall brand voice and tone.

7. Leadership and Team Management :

Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals fostering a collaborative highperformance environment.

Provide training guidance and support to other departments in effective communication practices.

8. Stakeholder Engagement :

Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including clients industry peers influencers and regulatory bodies.

Represent the organization at key industry events conferences and public forums.

Skills & Qualifications :

10 yrs of experience in corporate communications with at least 5 years in a leadership role ideally within the advertising or marketing industry.

Proven track record in media relations crisis communication and brand management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear persuasive and effective messages.

Excellent leadership team management and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in social media platforms communication tools and content management systems.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.

Familiarity with the advertising industry and current trends.

Experience in digital and social media marketing.

Crisis management and reputation recovery expertise.

Knowledge of public speaking and presentation skills.
