Job Description:
Our Client is seeking to retain an experienced Water Resources engineer for our growing practice. This role involves designing analyzing and implementing water resources related projects including streambank stabilization open channel flow analysis flood and stormwater management and control and sustainable environmental solutions. The Water Resource Engineer will participate in consulting efforts for the company including design and permitting of projects assisting with client and project management efforts and permitting related communication.
Job Requirements:
Expected duties will include the following:
Water Resources design and analysis to support engineering projects including plan and drawing development project submittals to clients and presentations of work to clients or regulators;
Support Blackstones engineering practice through client development and management project and staff development.
Plan and oversee project logistics
Conduct field inspection of projects to confirm quality and adherence to designs.
Provide technical support and resolve engineering challenges during construction.
Help identify and develop new opportunities prepare effective technical proposals and take an active leadership role in the development of new business with existing clients. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers and environmental scientists.
Serve as a technical resource for engineering projects.
Education:
Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of industry experience in water resource engineering. Experience in design modeling and analysis with water resource related projects. Experience with state and federal permitting processes is also a bonus.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a specified period.
Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software CAD tools and GIS platforms.
Strong analytical problemsolving and project management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of applicable local state and federal regulations.
