Location: Orpington
Hours: 08:30 am 5:00 pm
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: 24.00 30.00 P/H
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6/5/4 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy Hospital in Orpington. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratorys cellular histology service.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role
As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy and able to cut over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard: alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a daytoday basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and guiding junior members of staff.
Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:
- HCPC registered
- UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
- Relevant qualification in Biomedical Science (e.g. BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent)
