Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in elementary math education or closely related field by time of appointment Knowledge of effective instructional practices for educating elementary emergent bilinguals U.S. K12 teaching experience Ability to teach math methods courses to teacher candidates A strong publication record in peerreviewed journals commensurate with rank Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
Preferred Qualifications
Established track record of extramural research funding Experience in working with students with disabilities Bilingual: Spanish
