We currently have an opening for a Systems Administrator II
The position is designated Statutory Exempt and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.
The primary purpose of the Systems Administrator II is to serve as a ServiceNow Platform administrator implementing and maintaining a secure and efficient platform configuration for NCDOT.
Duties include but are not limited to:
The ServiceNow Technology Workflows Cloud SaaSBuilt Customer Solutions and Tier 3 Support section within Business Services provides operational support for the ServiceNow Platform in addition to implementing and maintaining Technology Workflows applications (ITSM ITOM ITAM SPM). This section is also responsible for implementing and supporting cloud SaaSbuilt applications as well as provide Tier 3 enduser support for all employees of NCDOT.
The Business Services unit leads and directs all ServiceNow Change Management and enduser cloud SaaS applications for NCDOT. This unit also is responsible for providing Service Delivery to its customers through multiple channels.
Note: Selected candidate must reside in North Carolina at time of hire.

Bachelors degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive experience in systems software programming

Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in systems software programming; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

REMOTE WORK:
At NCDIT we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative and flexible work environment offering a hybrid remote work option for positions that are conducive to remote flexibility. If you do not currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned duty station new hires are granted up to 120 days from their start date to relocate.
