Job Description

We are seeking to fill the position of Cybersecurity Governance Analyst for one of our customers in 2 Montgomery Street Jersey City NJ(Hybrid). One of our clients in the 2 Montgomery Street Jersey City NJ needs a Cybersecurity Governance Analyst for a permanent position.

Position: Cybersecurity Governance Analyst
Location: 2 Montgomery Street Jersey City NJ(Hybrid)

The Cybersecurity Governance Analyst ensures that all cybersecurity initiatives and policies comply with relevant laws regulations and standards. This role will focus on risk management policy creation audits and continuous improvement of governance frameworks. The candidate will work closely with both technical teams and executive stakeholders in a government contracting environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in information security Business Administration or a related field.
24 years of experience in cybersecurity governance risk and compliance (GRC).
Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF COBIT ISO 27001 or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating and presenting policy documents.
Experience conducting audits or working with audit teams.
Ability to obtain any required government security clearances and pass background checks.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cybersecurity governance policies standards and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate cybersecurity risks and compliance gaps.
Coordinate with technical and operational teams to implement corrective actions for identified vulnerabilities.
Track regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary adjustments to governance frameworks.
Assist in internal and external audits ensuring proper documentation and remediation followup.
Provide training and awareness materials to promote a culture of security compliance.
Prepare comprehensive governance reports for Port Authority management and other stakeholders
