GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager.

As the Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for owning and managing projects through the complete project life cycle. Youll be involved in resource planning budgeting and fostering crossfunctional collaboration. With your strong technical background youll lead a small multidisciplinary team to meet project a projects objective on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing detailed project plans timelines and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budget Management: Preparing and managing project budgets ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of engineers and other professionals fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with stakeholders including clients senior management and team members to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Technical Oversight: Providing technical guidance and support to the project team ensuring engineering solutions are feasible and effective.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring that all project activities comply with relevant regulations standards and safety protocols.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking project progress performance and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Mentorship and guidance to mature the technical teams knowledge and skill.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Engineering Engineering Technology and/or related career experience.
  • Minimum three 3 years project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing engineering projects including planning and delivery.
  • Experience managing large and complex projects in a similar industry.
  • Professional Engineering designation an asset.
  • Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and standards.
  • Valid Canadian passport required.
