About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Spanish lessons across Key Stages 35 following exam specifications and incorporating diverse cultural perspectives.
- Plan and deliver lessons that foster language skills cultural awareness and communication proficiency utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources including language technology and cultural activities.
- Assess student progress through oral presentations written assignments and language assessments providing detailed feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum integrating current linguistic trends and cultural practices and participate in departmental planning.
- Organise and lead language exchanges cultural trips and languagerelated activities promoting student engagement and cultural immersion.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Spanish subject knowledge including linguistics literature and culture.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish to ALevel with a focus on both language skills and cultural understanding.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and linguistic skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to fostering language proficiency and global awareness.
