Job Description
Universal Orlando Resort believes inperson collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. There are also roles that require being onsite full time. Limited remote opportunities may be available within specific departments. Youll learn more about this during the recruitment process.
JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and conduct IT audits/reviews/studies with a control and process improvement focus. Ensure the adequacy of and compliance with Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) policies and procedures applicable laws and regulations asset/information security and integrity as well as the overall internal control environment with a specific focus on information technology. The Assurance & Advisory (A&A) Manager will also be responsible for detail reviewing Sr. Analyst project work. This position is responsible for developing proactive solutions communicating potential impacts on the business and will work closely with crossfunctional partners and leadership to ensure business needs are met. The A&A Manager delivers valueadded services to the organization through a consultative approach that includes process engineering business analytics and thought leadership.
Hybrid Work Schedule
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and conduct IT audits/reviews/studies that are efficient customer focused and provide value to the business; coordinate and document audit work papers current/future state process maps and other deliverables.
- Perform detailed review of project work conducted by Sr. Analysts.
- Work collaboratively across the business to drive value through participation in consulting projects and ad hoc requests.
- Manage team by providing leadership coaching mentoring career development and performance management.
- Assist with the annual risk assessment and UDX Project Plan development. Identify and assess risks to the organization through accumulation of internal and industry data.
- Assist other internal and external audit functions and projects as necessary.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree is required (Accounting Finance Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or related field).
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years in an auditing (IT) or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA License CIA CISA or CISSP preferred.
- Occasional local and longdistance travel may be required.
