The Role and What Youll Do:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Lead Cluster Technology Manager for the mountain venue clusters near Cortina Italy with extensive experience in managing technology for largescale events. The onsite technology management team will play a crucial role in the successful of the Official Hospitality Program for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in MilanoCortina Italy. This role will be responsible for recruiting directing managing supervising and coordinating all activities of the Onsite Technology Functional Area. This includes hiring technical and personnel to design configure and implement hardware and software systems in addition to procurement of computer hardware/software operating systems. This position reports to the VP of Business Technology.

• Manage the technology and IT infrastructure for all events including planning implementation and operations.
• Act as the main technical liaison between Milano Cortina 2026s functional areas and our internal functional areas such as Venue Technology Event Production Security Custom Groups Program Management and Workforce.
• Hire cultivate and manage Radio Inventory Cluster and Venue Technology managers to be the primary point of contact for our internal and external clients throughout the project lifecycle ensuring timely communication and coordination of all necessary parties.
• Develop and manage a team of technology professionals to ensure all technologyrelated activities are performed effectively and efficiently for all onsite and offsite venues.
• Work closely with each Functional Area of the project to ensure each FAs technology needs are collected and presented to our corporate technology teams for assessment procurement allocation and management in accordance with On Locations corporate technology standards and policies.
• Work with our corporate procurement and technology teams to identify vendors for equipment needs and negotiate contracts if necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions and services.
• Manage the overall budget for technologyrelated expenses and ensure that all expenditures are within budgetary constraints for the Hospitality Program of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
• Work with our Finance and Accounting teams to submit track and reconcile vendor expenses.
• Ensure that all technologyrelated activities comply with EU regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for all technologyrelated systems to ensure business continuity for all onsite and offsite venues during Games time.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of technologyrelated activities.
• Assist in designing and managing On Locations Technology Command Center in coordination with the OL Hospitality Command Center and the OCOGs Technology Operations Center.

You have these:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or related field.
• 10 years of experience in technology management project management and/or business operations with a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies including networking software and hardware platforms preferably in the ticketing travel or hospitality industry.
• Experience working in a clientfacing role with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Proven track record of managing technology infrastructure and delivering successful technology solutions for largescale events.
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize budgeting tasking and prioritization for timely delivery.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve common goals while working under pressure to meet deadlines of timesensitive projects.
• Experience in recruiting and leading crossfunctional teams and managing complex technology projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is required Italian is preferred.
• Experience working in a technology role in previous medium to large scale events such as World Cups and/or Commonwealth Euros and Olympic Games.
