Description


We are looking for an intern to join our logistics team where you will gain handson experience in executing logistics projects and supporting daily operations. You will have the opportunity to analyze workflows identify efficiencies and explore reporting opportunities giving you exposure to various aspects of logistics. Throughout your internship you will work alongside both internal and external teams helping you build a strong foundation of skills that will benefit your educational and professional development. In this role you will also help implement safety practices including those related to patient safety and will be expected to uphold the principles of FamilyCentered Care when interacting with patients their families and coworkers.

Schedule

  • Fulltime summer internship end of May or beginning of June 2025 Sept 1st 2025 80 hours every two weeks
  • Monday Friday 8 a.m. 5 p.m.

Pay and Benefits

  • $16.00 per hour
  • Paid time off accrual
  • No medical dental or retirement matching

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a college program in relevant field of study required
  • Experience with general Supply Chain Logistics Operations or business concepts through either scholastic or practical application.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures and protocols.
  • Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact with colleagues vendors and the public in a professional manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace required.
  • Knowledge of Word & Excel software preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to organize workload and follow directions yet work independently.
