You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a detailoriented and technically skilled Learning Solution Support Assistant to join our team The ideal candidate will provide technical and operational support for learning solutions ensuring seamless delivery and optimisation of learning technologies.
This role requires a blend of IT expertise communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support for Learning Solutions:
Manage and maintain learning platforms including troubleshooting issues related to operating systems networks and databases.
Assist in the setup configuration and management of Microsoft Windows servers and other server technologies.
Provide database support (e.g. MSSQL) including creation query management and backups.
System Administration:
Monitor and maintain computer networking systems to ensure optimal performance.
Support the integration of new technologies into existing learning systems.
Conduct regular system updates and security checks to safeguard data integrity.
Learning Technology Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and optimise learning technologies.
Assist in developing elearning solutions using programming languages or tools when applicable.
Provide input on the design and functionality of digital learning resources.
User Support & Training:
Offer firstline support for employees using learning platforms addressing technical queries promptly.
Train users on new learning technologies ensuring they can effectively utilise available tools.
Create user guides or documentation to enhance the learner experience.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with internal teams to identify learning needs and align technical solutions with business goals.
Communicate technical issues clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on system performance and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant field is required.
Good knowledge of computer Operating Systems
Good knowledge & handson experience in computer networking and network technologies.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers(knowledge of other server technologies will be an added advantage)
Good knowledge of databases (MSSQL) such as DB creation query management backup etc.
Knowledge of programming language will be anaddedadvantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
