A hospital near Talladega AL is seeking a parttime Travel Nuclear Med Tech for a 13week opportunity! Details listed below.
Pay: $47 / hour
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Opportunity:
Parttime 13week travel contract with temptoperm opportunities available!
Schedule: 3x8 day shift
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures operating equipment like gamma cameras and PET scanners to capture images.
Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images for accurate diagnoses.
Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures adhering to radiation safety protocols and proper disposal of radioactive materials.
Educate patients about imaging procedures addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Travel Nuclear Med Tech Qualifications:
Current valid Alabama Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
Current valid NMTCB or ARRT certification
Must have a Bachelor s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
