Job Description
Assist Head Start Lead Teacher in providing a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment for 35 yearold children that enhances the development and meets the special needs of children reflect the family and community culture. Assist Head Start teacher in all aspects of classroom management including: observing screening and assessing the development of each child with assigned assessment tools. Comply with Head Start Standartds Child and Adult Care Food Program and Oregon State Child Care Division Certification Requirements. Classroom environment and outdoor playground and field trips.
Requirements
Be in good physical condition and able to safely lift children up to 55 pounds. High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in an early childhood education group setting. Enroll in the Oregon Criminal History Registry and pass a tribal background with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Possess first aid/CPR and Food Handler Certification. Must also pass a pre employment alcohol and drug screening.
