The AHP team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our team at an independent specialist day school in Sutton. Our school provides highquality education for pupils with autism and additional needs such as ADHD speech and language difficulties sensory issues and associated behavioural difficulties. Recently rated Good by Ofsted we are committed to making a positive impact on our young peoples lives.
Role Overview:
As a Speech & Language Therapist you will be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team supporting educational and residential colleagues. You will provide therapeutic living and learning environments offer individualised interventions and engage with our young people based on clinical assessment and formulation. Your role will involve working collaboratively within our schools and childrens homes ensuring therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education care and support we offer.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will provide consultation workshops training and guidance to educational and residential teams. You will support teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments. You will engage and deliver therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs. You will be a confident engaging and effective model guide leader and trainer.
