Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex litigation matters with a focus on real estate and franchise law. You will be responsible for managing and representing our interests in legal disputes ensuring compliance with applicable laws and providing strategic legal advice to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Management: Represent the company in various legal proceedings including trials arbitrations and mediations. Develop and implement strategies for effective litigation.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice on a range of issues including real estate franchise agreements and contract disputes. Ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently and in the best interest of the company.
  • Case Preparation: Conduct thorough legal research draft legal documents and prepare cases for litigation. Collaborate with external counsel as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Advise on risk management and legal compliance to minimize exposure to legal liabilities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively. Manage relationships with opposing counsel and other stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and updates on litigation matters for senior management. Provide recommendations based on legal analysis and case outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments including HR and finance to address legal issues and support company operations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in litigation preferably with a focus on real estate and franchise law.
  • Licensing: Active bar membership in CA State.
  • Skills: Strong analytical research and writing skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Proven track record in managing complex litigation cases.
  • Knowledge: Indepth understanding of real estate and franchise law as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Attributes: Detailoriented proactive and capable of working under pressure. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Salary Range: $250000 $400000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
