A well-established full-service law firm with over 150 years of history is seeking multiple Associate Attorneys to join its growing Construction Litigation Group in Garden City NY. This is an ideal opportunity for attorneys with 5–10 years of experience handling construction litigation including New York Labor Law defense construction defect and property damage cases. The firm values candidates who bring solid deposition and courtroom experience and welcomes backgrounds that also include insurance coverage or risk-related work. NY Bar admission is required and a NJ Bar is a plus.

What you will be doing:

  • Represent clients in all phases of construction litigation including depositions motion practice and court appearances.

  • Manage cases involving NY Labor Law claims construction defects and property damage.

  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies and settlement options.

  • Draft legal documents correspondence and reports with clarity and precision.

  • Provide legal counsel and risk management advice to clients in the construction and insurance industries.

  • Operate within a partially remote schedule with a flexible in-office rotation.

Experience you will need:

  • JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

  • Admission to the New York Bar (New Jersey Bar a plus).

  • 5–10 years of litigation experience preferably in construction-related matters.

  • Proven ability to handle depositions and appear in court.

  • Strong writing analytical and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated professionalism judgment and a proactive work ethic.
