Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in the Annapolis Junction MD area. Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development provide enterpriselevel network server desktop and application security services. Responsibilities may include:
- Support the design of systems mission architecture and associated hardware
- Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration
- Act as a task lead and assist in interviews/staffing actions as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- 15 years experience as a System Administrator on programs or contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a BS degree.
- Demonstrated experience in Linux environments is required. Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- DOD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required.
- Experience in leading a technical team (system administrators ISSEs etc).
- Ability to review mission performance to ensure proper of the mission. Must be able to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration.
- Extensive collaboration with project personnel and partner/customer groups is required strong communications skills are a must.
- Providing input on contract deliverables as requested.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
