Job Description

  • Provide excellent customer service both internal/external whether verbal or email. 
  • Effective interpersonal skills ability to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors. 
  • Ability to work without constant supervision self motivation and attention to detail required. Assuming the role of a leader and taking charge of situations is also encouraged. 
  •  Prepare Air Export shipments by working closely with Vendors immediate counterparts in the Air Export Department Air Gateway and region.  A summary of the process would be scheduling pickups from Shippers both verbally or email obtaining correct paperwork to export reviewing and perfecting US Export Compliance managing email traffic within a timely manner and ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in Customer SOP
  • Maintaining positive relationships with our customers both USA / Internationally. Meeting customer service standards.
  • Dispatching and overseeing all customer pickups. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  • Support with courier shipments through 3rd party portals for GAM customer.
  • Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of various reporting tools and work board. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system Ongoing commitment to quality and data integrity. 
  • Assist the Air Export manager supervisors and leads with various Excel data logging and document creations.
  • Constant selfdevelopment.
  • Understand department process flow and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Qualifications :

  • Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word Excel and Power Point. Familiar with standard email programs.
  • A good understanding of Expeditors Products and Serviceswill be trained on
  • Understanding of documentation process a pluswill be trained on
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work without constant supervision within a fastpaced work environment.
  • Selfmotivation and attention to detail required. Assuming the role of a leader and taking charge of situations is also desired.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including proven abilities to listen comprehend effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
