Job Description
Psychology Teacher Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston requires a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their department. This is a fulltime permanent position primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons.
- Cover a range of topics including cognitive social developmental and biological psychology.
- Prepare students for success in Psychology examinations (e.g. GCSE ALevel).
- Foster critical thinking research skills and an understanding of ethical issues in psychology.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum.
- Teaching at an Outstanding school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for psychology.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
