Job Description

Our client a leading player in the special machines sector specializes in the design engineering and manufacturing of advanced industrial equipment. To support its growth and innovation strategy we are looking for a VP Engineering to lead its technical teams and drive product development.

Main Responsibilities

As the VP Engineering you will oversee all engineering and R&D activities including:

  • Defining and executing the engineering strategy to support business objectives.
  • Leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical electrical automation software etc..
  • Driving innovation and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Overseeing the full product development lifecycle from concept to industrialization.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards safety regulations and quality requirements.
  • Managing engineering budgets resources and project timelines.
  • Collaborating with other departments (production sales marketing) to align engineering goals with market needs.
  • Establishing partnerships with external stakeholders such as suppliers research institutions and industry experts.

Desired Profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering industrial engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in an engineering leadership role preferably in the special machines or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong expertise in product development R&D and industrialization processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire highperforming technical teams.
  • Excellent project management skills and strategic vision.
  • Knowledge of modern engineering tools (CAD PLM simulation software) and manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Fluency in french; english or another language is a plus.
