Job Description

As our Senior Assistant Banquet Operations Manager you will proudly assist in managing the daytoday operations of our department leading the team in service delivery. Reporting to & being mentored by our supportive Conference and Events Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include: 

  • This includes guest liaison supervision of employees preparation and accounts and managing equipment needs.
  • Supports revenue initiatives and maintain cost controls whilst providing total customer satisfaction with all customer contact. This role is hands on working as part of a team to provide efficient food and beverage services
  •  Supervise function room setups and servicing to ensure client needs are being met according to specifications of function event orders
  • Ensure adequate equipment based on requirements highlighted on event orders Follow up on queries/concerns received from clients relating to servicing of functions
  • Provide food and drinks service to customers maximising every opportunity to increase sales per person Supervise and support employees to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent high level of service for all customer contact
  •  Roster staff to meet function needs whilst managing labour costs

Qualifications :

Your keys to success include your proven leadership qualities and indepth knowledge of banquets and events operations ideally within a similar environment. Your ability to thrive in a fastpaced professional environment and your passion for outstanding customer service will set you apart from the crowd. You will also bring with you excellent communication skills aptitude for training exceptional problem solving skills and flexibility to work a rotating roster. 

You will demonstrate the ability to excel within a luxury brand as we work together to grow your skillset and advance your career.
