We are an ASX listed company (ASX:CCL) and one of five licensed banks in Australia with full direct connectivity and production capability across all domestic payment systems. Whilst the major banks leverage this capability for their consumer and business clients our B2B model focuses on enabling other banks fintechs and corporates to deliver innovative and competitive payment and digital solutions to their clients and customers.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Payments squad
As one of Australias largest independent providers of realtime payment solutions our Payments team have the expertise scale and infrastructure to maximise every opportunity the New Payments Platform (NPP) offers.
The Business Analyst is a key role for the delivery of realtime payment solutions that enable our clients (banks payment service providers (PSPs) and corporates) to process payments on behalf of their customers. The responsibilities of the role include:
Eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders not simply their expressed desires
Working as part of the Development Team to assess solution proposals and establish which will most effectively business needs
Facilitating effective communications between organisational business units
Aligning the needs of the business unit with the capabilities delivered by information technology (i.e. serve as the translator between those groups)
Defining and validating solutions that meet business needs
Working collaboratively with the Product Owners to ensure that sprint goals are met.
About You:
As a Business Analyst you will have the following skills and experience:
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry within Financial Services sector
At least 3 years experience in Payments projects (either Real Time or Batch) exposure to modern payment solutions eg. NPP & PayTo is highly regarded
Good understanding of PCI
And experience and or skills in the following technology:
Strong skills with MS Office suite particularly Excel Word and Visio
Competent in BPMN UC SQL XML AS2805 ISO20022 Jira & confluence
Good business planning analytical and conceptual skills
Competent with Atlassian tool set
