We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processes ensure accurate salary payments and maintain compliance with payroll regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail confidentiality and a solid understanding of payroll procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain and update payroll records including salaries benefits and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws UIF PAYE and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Handle employee payroll queries and provide support on salaryrelated matters.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Process leave calculations overtime payments and bonuses.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of South African labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. Sage VIP Payroll Pastel or Payspace).
- Strong numerical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with high accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12 Essential
- Diploma or degree in Payroll Finance HR or a related field Advantageous
- Experience with SARS eFiling and payroll tax compliance
