Are you passionate about technology and problemsolving We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and ensure smooth IT operations within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide firstline technical support to employees via phone email and in person.
- Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues efficiently.
- Install configure and maintain computer systems printers and other IT equipment.
- Assist with setting up user accounts permissions and passwords.
- Escalate complex issues to higherlevel IT support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking Active Directory and Office 365.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications (South Africa):
- Matric (Grade 12 Essential
- ITrelated diploma or degree (e.g. Information Technology Computer Science) Advantageous
- A N Certification Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD100 MD101 Advantageous
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Beneficial for networking roles
