Job Description

Facilities Manager Join Our Team in Ballarat!

Are you an experienced and highly organised Facilities Manager looking for an exciting opportunity We are seeking a skilled professional to manage facilities on behalf of our global food manufacturing client in Ballarat. In this key role youll ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the site while maintaining a safe and productive environment for all employees.

About the Role: As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for managing both hard and soft services overseeing planned work schedules and leading a team across Security Cleaning and Catering. You will also manage contractor relationships and ensure all services meet safety and compliance standards. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of staff and contractors ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders building occupants and external contractors.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellence in customer service within the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to improve facilities and services efficiency.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations. Provide regular reports to management on service delivery site performance and key issues.
  • Project Management: Lead facilityrelated projects and initiatives.
  • Facilities Systems: Proficient in using facilities management software and systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering facilities and asset management services in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate manage and develop teams.
  • ProblemSolving: Excellent problemsolving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requirements: Full Australian work rights (mandatory) and successful completion of Sodexos preemployment requirements.
