Job Description

Our Finance Velocity Office was designed to accelerate our path to building a worldclass finance function.   • Modernize our processes to enable better faster decision making and drive more timely insights for our clients and business partners.

  • Implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful sustainable change and enable our longterm growth agenda.

  • Ensure a clear and measurable set of KPIs against our Finance OKRs and Scorecard to track report and recognize key milestones and impact statements for our work product.

As a Business Consultant you will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance Velocity Office Program. This role requires interpersonal skills to influence and cultivate partnerships across functions regions and teams to drive thought leadership and successfully enact detailed financial analysis business case development and performance tracking. This role will leverage detailed analysis to generate insights make recommendations and be expected to develop effectively communicate through various mediums (e.g. presentations) to program leaders and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in finance transformation and/or financial analysis preferably with a public company management consulting firm and has proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions.

Essential Functions:

Problem solving and analysis

  • Lead analyses to drive decisionmaking on critical strategic topics. Proactively identify issues and provide recommendations on solutions leveraging input from crossfunctional teams
  • Perform business process mapping/flowcharting when evaluating end to end financial processes.
  • Build near and longterm views for growth that align with business strategy and data.

Project management

  • Manage project workstreams within broader initiatives.
  • Create project deliverables to cement the results of the project in various mediums
  • Support business case development for key initiatives ad hoc requests and special projects.
  • Establish efficient processes for quarterly and monthly performance reporting
  • Utilize project management methodologies and tools to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Stakeholder engagement and communications

  • Establish and maintain relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e. executives and staff) in the business and serve as a key point of contact for issues
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure initiatives are seamlessly rolled o
  • Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies priorities and issues of the business.
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to effectively illustrate findings ideas and recommendations to support decisionmaking processes tailored to various audiences including CEO CFO Finance Leadership Team and Executive Committee and Broader Finance.

Implementation support

  • Identify and implement changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
  • Enable management by providing timely accurate information
  • Understand business drivers and recommend measures to further improve results

This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco CA. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at
least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA
JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualification
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years
of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
23 years of experience in management consulting required
5 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree with at least 2 years of
relevant experience in a welldisciplined organization where best practices are
integral to the management of the business
Must have the ability to perform business process mapping/flowcharting as
the company will be evaluating end to end financial processes through various
assessments
Advanced skills in creating compelling narratives visually appealing and
contentrich PowerPoint presentations that will support executive level
reporting
Strong project management skills to lead workstreams within broader
initiatives
Ability to create a variety of deliverables for inflight projects that can range
from process flows roadmaps slide decks policy documents etc.
Ability to gather and write business requirements as well perform user
acceptance testing as part of system and tool implementation projects
Proactive strategic thinker
Superior problemsolving skills with ability to communicate effectively with
executive management
Must be actionoriented and detailoriented to ensure timeliness accuracy and
quality of output
Experience performing financial analysis and modeling with strong financial
acumen
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the
operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
Clientfocused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts
High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders
Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132300.00 to 191800.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
