Whats it all about
As the Manager EU VAS Acceptance Solutions Network Products Acceleration you will play a crucial role in supporting Visas ambitious growth targets for VAS in the EU. You will collaborate with specialised sales finance regional and global product teams and market BDs to understand regional needs for sellercentric VAS Network Products and localise to accelerate adoption. This role will also help align Network Products with the Visa Acceptance Platform and develop a plan to offer scheme agnostic solutions for our clients. This role can be located in several major European cities and reports to the Head of PostPurchase and Network Products for EU VAS.
The successful candidate has experience with product strategy a commercial acumen data analytics and data driven strategic thinking executive presentation and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to build fast rapport and credibility. This role will focus on identifying and capitalising on sales and revenue growth opportunities driving product innovation and ensuring a clear narrative and longterm strategy of our Network Products.
What we expect of you day to day.
- Develop baseline metrics to enhance the understanding and visibility of how Network Products support Visas growth targets for EU VAS.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities for key Network Products in priority markets.
- Support product strategy and prioritisation at cluster level by gathering internal and market insights sizing opportunities and identifying new client targets in key EU markets.
- Support creation and design of collateral materials and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions in the context of key markets.
- Provide subject matter expertise to sales and account management teams on selected VAS Network Products.
- Support solution proposals for clients.
- Maintain requirements log detailing ongoing regional requirements for product development and enhancements rules and repricing supported by clear business / revenue cases.
- Gather insights on regional competitive and regulatory intelligence to inform decisionmaking.
- Create dashboards to track and report on solution priorities and acceptance results.
- Support the creation of a strategy growth plan for key network products key challenges and opportunities at key market level
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in payments within a product consulting or data/revenue analysis capacity.
- Ability to understand / develop subject matter expertise on different commercial models and growth drivers for a range of different solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced often ambiguous environment.
- Bachelors degree preferred but relevant experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in PowerPoint Excel and reporting tools.
- Understanding of banking and payments systems and processes.
- Knowledge of marketing principles product management and business analysis.
- Preferred experience/knowledge of the merchant/acquirer ecosystem.
- Interest in emerging payment trends and the competitive landscape.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with senior management.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to analyze data to make informed recommendations and solve problems.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential improvements to regional solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet regional business needs during design and build phases.
- Support backlog refinement by defining toppriority user stories with a business case.
- Report on key activities to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver sales enablement training for regional markets.
- Strong analytical quantitative commercial project management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize information for various audiences.
- Ability to inspire crossfunctional teams to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Mature disciplined and capable of navigating ambiguity across multiple organizational levels.
