Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer (Android) to join our team. This key role will define the future infrastructure focused on handling hundreds of thousands of daily tests with extreme reliability low latency and a costeffective architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and scale our distributed backend to manage massive test volumes on Android Emulators iOS Simulators and dedicated devices.
- Lead the development and management of infrastructure and backend services.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on roadmap and strategy to ensure system reliability scalability and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Significant experience with Kotlin or modern Java in complex distributed or stateful systems.
- Experience managing Android or iOS CI infrastructure and building testing frameworks.
- Experience architecting and scaling high volume infrastructure systems.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Maestro or similar testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with gRPC or Thrift for system communication.
