Job Description
We are seeking a Canning Line Operator to maintain and operate the canning line equipment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. INX makes the ink on 95 of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. We will train the right candidate on the job and on TPM activities. As a Canning Line Operator you will be:
- Responsible for the canning operation
- Transporting material to the canning line pressout
- Following proper instructions when operating the canning machine
- Filling cans as instructed on process orders
- Transporting the tub to the tub washer for cleaning when canning is completed
- Preparing containers and labels
Qualifications :
To perform your job as expected you will be required to:
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have good attendance and punctuality
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
In addition to these qualifications we will consider it a plus if you have:
- Production experience
