We are seeking a proactive and driven Regional Engagement Manager to build strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders supporting unemployed individuals through AEBfunded preemployment training. This role is ideal for a resultsfocused professional who can engage DWP community groups training providers and referral partners to generate candidate referrals and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Recruitment
- Build and manage relationships with DWP Charities Training Providers Community Groups and Restart Programmes.
- Develop and maintain key regional JCP relationships ensuring adherence to all guidelines.
- Promote AEBfunded preemployment courses across the North East identifying local skills and training needs.
- Attend recruitment networking and community events to promote training opportunities and increase candidate engagement.
- Manage referral partnerships to maximise learner recruitment and completions.
- Actively promote opportunities via social media and other marketing channels.
Candidate & Employer Engagement
- Identify screen and interview potential learners for eligibility and suitability.
- Ensure a highquality recruitment experience for candidates.
- Support employer engagement by conducting recruitment needs analysis and sourcing employment opportunities for learners.
- Provide outstanding Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) to candidates and stakeholders.
Performance & Compliance
- Meet and exceed KPIs including:
- Minimum 30 learner completions per month.
- Target of 4050 completions per month across all provisions.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting on learner and stakeholder activity.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement measured through:
- Attendance rates
- Success rates
- Learner feedback and employer survey outcomes
About You
Essential
- Experience in recruitment employer engagement or stakeholder networking.
- Strong knowledge of the North East labour market and training needs.
- Proven track record in managing course delivery and learner engagement.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Ability to work independently meet targets and manage deadlines.
- Confident IT skills particularly in Excel.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Level 1 qualification in Providing Information and Guidance (IAG).
- Understanding of AEB/SSU contracts and their application.
- Experience promoting AEB courses and engaging with local employers.
