Job Description

Our customer is specilised in engineering and custombuilt machinery across various industries. With roots in the textile industry the company has expanded its expertise over the years gaining a strong reputation for flexibility and innovation. Their services include the design and construction of integrated futureproof machines tailored to meet specific client needs.

Due to a continuous growth in the company we are looking for a Mechanical Designer / Project Engineer.

Your Challenges

  • Design innovative machines in 3D using advanced CAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team.
  • Regularly consult with clients with opportunities for short business trips abroad.
  • Supervise the construction of your designs in our workshops.
  • Assist in the startup and testing phase both inhouse and at the clients site.

Your Profile

  • Passion for technology and strong technical insight to design machines and develop concepts.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics) with preferably initial relevant experience.
  • Experience with Cocreate Modeling (Onespace Designer) and Windchill is an advantage.
  • Customerfocused team player and able to work independently.
  • Strong project management skills ensuring completion within budget and deadlines.
  • Living in the area of Waregem
