Role Purpose:
This role is working in a Staysure Group brand called ROCK which is a white labelled travel insurance company. The role will involve working with some of ROCKs biggest clients in a B2B2C capacity. In this role you will be balancing ROCK and Staysure Groups collaborative business needs alongside client needs to improve and scale their online direct travel insurance journeys.
We are seeking a Product Owner who is truly customer centric and puts the user at the centre of everything. This role is not just about managing a product backlog; its about looking to improve the customer journey we provide customers through brilliant innovative experiences. Product owners are a key role in our organisations digital transformation focusing intently on optimising the customer journey designed and built by your collective squad.
The role will leverage both quantitative and qualitative insight to help make data driven decisions aligning to the needs of our users and driving commercial success all while meeting the requirements of a heavily regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
UserCentric Product Ownership:
- Work across the business and with clients to craft a compelling product vision that is deeply rooted in user needs desires and behaviours.
- Understand our customer needs pain points and demands through interviews surveys and usability testing to derive insights and validate product hypotheses.
- UX/UI Familiarity: Knowledge of best practices for creating userfriendly and conversionoptimised digital experiences.
- A/B Testing and Optimisation: Experience running experiments to optimize the websites conversion rates.
- Ecommerce Expertise: Experience with ecommerce platforms payment gateways and online customer journeys.
Backlog Management and Prioritisation:
- Own curate and prioritise the product backlog with an unwavering focus on user value and commercial impact.
- Break down complex requirements into actionable user stories and tasks collaborating with the squad to build the right thing.
- Work alongside a Scrum Master and BA to ensure smooth deliveries and ability to hit targets and deadlines
Collaboration with CrossFunctional Teams:
- Foster a collaborative environment with clients designers developers marketers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless communication with offshore development teams emphasising clarity alignment and excellence in delivery.
Commercial Acumen:
- Balance user needs with commercial objectives ensuring that the product not only delights users but also drives business growth.
- Conduct market research competitor analysis and business metrics to understand customer problems and inform product decisions and strategies.
Champion of Best Practices:
- Advocate for and instil best practices in product management from user research to agile methodologies.
- Continuously seek opportunities for learning and growth pushing the boundaries of whats possible.
- Acts as a key member of our Product Chapter collaborating and sharing learnings across the product discipline for both Staysure and ROCK.
- Driving OKRs for your area prioritising the roadmap and sprint plan to support this.
- Understanding of CRO and experimentation to validate your hypotheses and derisk journey improvements.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels from executives to endusers ensuring alignment managing expectations and gathering feedback.
- A clear communicator who can take complex problems and communicate them in a clear way across all levels.
- Be able to work in a client facing role alongside a relationship manager

- Experience in digital product management with a proven track record of driving usercentric products to commercial success.
- Deep expertise in user research methodologies and tools.

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Experience of Digital Transformation and customer journey overhauls a plus these are not BAU roles
