Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Senior CMS Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- CMS Administration & Configuration: Manage system settings permissions and workflows to support content teams efficiently.
- Content Workflow Management: Define and maintain structured approval workflows to ensure content governance and consistency.
- User Support & Training: Provide guidance to content creators troubleshoot CMSrelated issues and develop training materials.
- Performance & SEO Optimization: Ensure CMS performance is optimized for speed indexing and structured content.
- Plugin & Module Management: Evaluate and configure CMS plugins/extensions to enhance functionality.
- CMS Security & Compliance: Work with IT and security teams to enforce access controls prevent vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with policies.
- Data & Backup Management: Ensure proper backup procedures and content versioning are in place.
- Integration with Other Systems: Collaborate with developers to maintain integrations with external tools (e.g. CRM analytics personalization platforms).
- Testing & UAT Coordination: Support user acceptance testing for CMS updates template changes or new features.
Tasks:
- Lead the Daily Standup and any other technical meetings
- Distribute the task to the appropriate team members
- Lead the estimation process of the backlog items
- Support the Project Manager with the roadmap management
- Define and maintain user roles & permissions in the CMS
- Optimize CMS templates and components for usability & SEO
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMSrelated issues for stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 35 years of experience managing enterpriselevel CMS platforms
- Experience with FirstSpirit and knowledge in other CMS platforms such as WordPress Adobe Experience Manager Sitecore
- Handson experience with CMS administration content workflows and permission management.
- Experience working with SEO teams developers and content managers to improve site performance.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting CMSrelated issues and providing technical support.
- Familiarity with basic HTML CSS and JavaScript to modify or troubleshoot CMS templates.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Degree in Computer Engineering Information Systems Digital Marketing or similar.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of CMS architecture templates and components.
- Knowledge of CDN caching mechanisms and web performance optimization.
- Experience working with API integrations and thirdparty plugins.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics Google Search Console and SEO best practices.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for CMS updates.
Soft Skills:
- ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot technical and processrelated CMS issues efficiently.
- Communication: Able to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Works well with IT Marketing and Content teams to align CMS strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in content workflows site structure and configurations.
- Adaptability: Quick to learn new CMS features and evolving digital trends.
