Job Description

Headquartered in Baltimore Maryland USALCO supplies high quality products with bestinclass service and industryleading research and development to design solutions that meet its customers individual needs and everchanging regulatory requirements. We have 33 production locations and 6 distribution terminals across the US and Puerto Rico.

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Supply Chain Finance Manager to support the integrated supply chain team reporting to the Vice President Finance and collaborating extensively with supply chain leadership. The successful candidate will analyze and manage costs related to our 33 production locations and 6 distribution terminals ensuring efficient and accurate financial planning cost control and improvement. This is a HYBRID position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and manage the costs associated with our chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Understand and analyze compliance with Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate cost accounting and tracking.
  • Interface with demand planning and supply planning to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
  • Perform maintenance and manufacturing cost analysis to identify costsaving opportunities.
  • Analyze reports on manufacturing costs variances and cost drivers.
  • Provide insights support and policy guidance on total cost of goods including logistics manufacturing and total cost to serve
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to supply chain costs.
  • Collect and analyze data about the companys operational costs including raw materials labor and overhead expenses lead in deploying overhead cost absorption models
  • Perform costvolumeprofit (CVP) analysis to understand the relationship between costs volume and profit
  • Establish costs for business processes such as administration labor and shipping absorption
  • Advise executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
  • Provide analysis for capital expenditures
  • Collaborate with production teams to gather data and maintain accurate records related to inventory production output and labor hours
  • Develop cost models and performing cost analysis to identify areas where costs can be reduced or optimized
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by creating budgets for production costs and monitor actual costs against budgeted amounts
  • Collaborate with all departments such as procurement logistics customer service and operations to streamline processes negotiate with suppliers and identify costsaving opportunities throughout the supply chain
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost analysis or cost accounting in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) demand planning supply planning and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Strong background in multimodal logistics and costing
  • Experience in job costing and manufacturing cost absorption
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with distribution optimization is a plus.
  • Experience with Kinaxis Planful Salesforce Alteryx Aptean Ross ERP are all plusses
