Job Description
PilotInCommand operates the company aircraft Gulfstream V in a Part 91 operation. The position will serve to insure the airworthiness and safe operation of the company aircraft.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
As Pilot in Command: Ensures the flight is conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures of Vericast and applicable Federal Aviation regulations. Directs the activities of the SecondInCommand and ensures that all crew members understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform. Assist with the passenger seating and luggage storage. Participation in the Safety Management System. Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation. Operates the aircraft per the Vericast Standard Operating Procedures and Checklists and within aircraft limitations.
As SecondInCommand: Will assist the PilotInCommand in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight. Maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the PilotInCommand Participation in the Safety Management System. Assist with the passenger seating and luggage storage. Assumes additional duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation/Chief Pilot.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION
Flight Crew Qualifications: PIC SIC License ATP Type Rating Required Medical FirstClass FirstClass Flight time 5000 hours 3000 hours Minimum high school diploma required College degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation regulations applicable to part 91
- In addition to holding current license and medical certificate HCHC pilots must have successfully completed these training programs and competency checks: Company procedures Aircraft Type Training Emergency Procedures Training Aircraft Surface contamination Training HAZMAT Training Security Training High altitude training Crew Resource Management Training must live within one hour of the corporate office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access or other database applications is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance processes and software is required
- Flexibility in managing multiple competing tasks with loosely defined deliverables and rigid deadlines is required
