Job Description

Job Summary

Under general supervision troubleshoot maintain repair service and install all types of HVAC and assist with industrial electrical systems including medium and high voltage power distribution large lighting systems and servicing generators.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all terminal HVAC systems.
  • Repair HVAC systems.
  • Remove and replace defective/failed HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoots electrical problems
  • Repairs electrical controls and equipment

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Job planning material ordering inventory control and general administrative duties.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience (certifications licenses training etc.

High School graduate or equivalent.

Minimum three 3 years of experience in the HVAC service field

Requires satisfactory completion of mechanical exam.

A valid South Carolina drivers license is required to operate a Ports Authorityowned licensed motor vehicle. 
High Voltage training
 

Preferred Qualifications

EPA HVAC certified

Journeyman Electrician
