Job Description
Get to Know the Team
In our Strategy and Analytics team we are dedicated to applying data to drive strategic decisions for our Commercial and Support functions. We work with multiple teams and partners to provide comprehensive data insights that help us better serve our consumers and partners in the marketplaces across Southeast Asia.
Get to Know the Role
It takes a village to give a safe and delightful service to our customers. As things get more complex the village needs experienced data analysts who can lift their head above the noise and guide us through data insights on what is best for our customers.
You will support data projects working with different teams across Grab with the purpose of giving our customers the best service in the world.
You will be directly reporting to the Data & Reporting Analytics Manager. You will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Functional
- You will independently assemble large and complex data sets that meet the business or analytical needs
- You will build and deploy data models that help improve support experience
- You will work with the Business or Operations Teams to understand their problem statements and conceptualize analytics frameworks that convert business problems into technical hypotheses
- You will Design and recommend A/B testing to evaluate the model performance and provide interpretation of the experiment results and provide datadriven recommendation
- You will develop data insights and performance dashboards
Customer
- You will have to be the radical advocate for our users on the quality of their experience with us above anything else
- You will lead the charge: Influence and serve to deliver through others
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need:
- We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years of data analytics experience
- You have project management skills track record in executing and delivering projects independently
- You can work with partners across several organization levels and several cultures
- Bachelors degree with academic track record
- Experience of analytical tools such as Power Apps PowerBI
- Knowledge in SQL to extract large disconnected datasets on Azure/AWS data platform
- Knowledge of data programming (Python R)
- Familiar with User experience function and tools is good to have
- Familiar with startup environment and understanding of dynamics between design engineering product and customer service
