Job Description
The Water Resources Engineer will be involved with all types of planning design and specialty services relating to community improvements environmental compliance and permitting infrastructure resiliency stormwater engineering and watershed modeling for our public and private sector clients.
Qualifications :
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABETaccredited program
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer license in Florida or ability to obtain Florida licensure within 1 year of start date
- Advanced level of oral written and presentation communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3D
- Practical knowledge of developing and guiding construction plan preparation
- Experience providing engineering services in Manatee and Sarasota Counties
- Experience with environmental resource and civil site permitting
- Successful delivery of water resources and civil engineering planning studies designs and construction documents
- Practical application of various hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g. BMP Trains HECHMS HECRAS HSPF ICPR MODRET StormCAD StormWise SWMM etc.
