For a strategic industrial project located in Corsica we are recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Oil & Energy sector a Field Engineering Coordinator.
Tasks
- Support to Field Engineering Manager: Assist the Field Engineering Manager in supervising onsite engineering activities ensuring operational continuity in their absence.
- Team Coordination: Organize and lead technical teams onsite ensuring tasks are executed according to established plans.
- Resource Management: Ensure the availability and efficient allocation of material and human resources necessary for operations.
- Compliance Monitoring: Verify that the work performed complies with quality standards safety norms and applicable regulations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues encountered onsite proposing appropriate solutions.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between field teams project management and other stakeholders ensuring smooth information flow.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on work progress challenges faced and solutions implemented.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in engineering (mechanical electrical civil or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in coordinating field engineering projects preferably in the Oil & Energy sector.
- Technical Skills: Indepth knowledge of construction processes safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities proven leadership and proactive problemsolving skills.
- Languages: Fluency in French and English both spoken and written.
