Job Description

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation with EACH being one of the lead agencies. Each year we help thousands of young people and their family and friends access vital support through our headspace services in over 145 communities across Australia our online and phone counselling services our vocational services and our presence in schools. 

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator to join our team in Port Macquarie. As a Clinical Educator you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our mental health professionals ultimately improving the quality of care provided to young people in our community.

With a proven track record in senior clinical roles you possess highlevel leadership skills that promote collaborative learning and facilitate constructive feedback. Your exceptional communication abilities allow you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while your strong organizational and problemsolving skills enable you to manage multiple priorities with autonomy.

You have a robust understanding of the current evidence base for early intervention in youth mental health along with experience in designing developing and delivering training programs that enhance clinical skill development. Your emotional intelligence resilience and tenacity equip you to support students through their challenges ensuring a nurturing and effective learning environment.

Qualifications :

  • Tertiary qualifications in clinical psychology occupational therapy or social work.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or equivalent registering authority.
  • Significant experience in the design development and delivery of training and resource packages including those that target clinical skill development
  • A robust knowledge of the rationale current evidence base and treatments for early intervention in youth mental health
  • Demonstrated ability to develop implement and evaluate knowledge transfer and training activities for the youth mental health workforce.
