Job Description
Our service based in Monbulk is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent parttime position at 25 hours per week all year round the perfect balance!
Shift times will be Monday Friday 7:00 09:00 AM (Rise Then Shine Program) and 3:00 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program).
Must have obtained or studying towards a relevant Diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
About the role
Working in a team of Educators you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 512 years:
- Facilitate an engaging childcentered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite
Who are we looking for
We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it! and a state check for working with children
- Obtained or studying towards a relevant Diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
